What Defines a Good Crushing & Screening Plants

A Aggregates Crushing and Screening turns blasted rock into saleable aggregate. In practice that means a primary crusher that accepts the biggest boulder from the quarry face, a secondary and often tertiary stage that shapes the particles, and screening decks that cut the stream into the size fractions your concrete or asphalt plant actually buys. HAMAC builds each stage — jaw crushers, impact crushers, cone crushers, vertical shaft impact crushers, vibrating screens and feeders — and then integrates them into stationary, modular or crawler-mounted layouts.

The decision that shapes everything downstream is whether the line is stationary, skid-mounted or tracked. A stationary Aggregates Crushing and Screening rewards a fixed quarry with many years of production ahead of it; a tracked or mobile plant pays back where you must follow the face or move between contracts every few months.

Wear parts you can source

Manganese jaw dies, blow bars, mantle and concave sets use common profiles and are stocked for ten years.

True-stage matching

Crusher chamber profile, eccentric throw and screen deck are matched to each other, so no single stage becomes the bottleneck of the whole Aggregates Crushing and Screening.

Spare capacity designed in

Conveyors and screens are sized roughly 15% above nominal so short-term peak demand does not stall the line.

Buying Questions Answered

What output can I realistically expect?
Published figures assume continuous, well-graded feed. In the field, expect 80-90% of nominal throughput; HAMAC quotes conservative rather than theoretical numbers.
Can the plant be upgraded later?
Yes. Conveyors, screen decks and even the tertiary crusher can be added later because we keep the layout modular and reserve structural capacity for it.
How do I choose between a jaw and an impact primary crusher?
A jaw handles abrasive and high-strength rock up to roughly 320 MPa and gives a low wear cost per tonne, while an impact crusher produces a far better particle shape for concrete aggregate but wears faster on hard or abrasive stone.
How much maintenance does the plant need daily?
Roughly 30 minutes: check lubrication pressures, belt tracking, screen mesh tension and hydraulic oil temperature. Weekly items add oil sampling and bolt re-torquing.
