On-site Concrete Mixing and Pumping

For some projects which is far from city or concrete batching plant, the concrete will be produced at site and then pumped to the building directly. We call this as On-site Concrete Mixing and Pumping. HAMAC can provide you different solutions for these working conditions. Such as motor mixer, trailer concrete mixer pump etc.

A self-loader concrete mixer is also named motor mixer, it is the same function as a mini concrete batching.

What Defines a Good Concrete Pumps & Placing Booms

Concrete has to arrive at the formwork continuously and without segregation. That is the entire purpose of this product family: On-site Concrete Mixing and Pumping equipment takes plastic concrete from a truck or mixer and delivers it horizontally along a pipeline or vertically through a placed boom, at a rate the finishing crew can absorb.

HAMAC supplies truck-mounted boom pumps for high-rise and large slabs, static and trailer line pumps for tunnels and long horizontal runs, spider placing booms for wide industrial floors, self-climbing booms that travel with the core of a tower, and separate placing masts for precast yards.

Continuous placement

Steady flow keeps cold joints out of slabs and eliminates the double-handling cost of crane-and-skip methods.

Safety built into the controls

Outrigger interlocks, boom angle limits and emergency stop circuits protect both crew and structure.

Diesel and electric variants

Choose engine power for remote sites or electric motors for tunnels and urban night work.

Buying Questions Answered

Do I need a special mix design for pumping?
Yes, a pumpable mix: continuous grading, sufficient fines (roughly 350-400 kg/m³ below 0.25 mm), and no gap-graded coarse aggregate.
How do I prevent pipeline blockages?
Keep slump at 120-180 mm, maintain adequate fines, prime the line with mortar before each pour and avoid long idle periods.
How tall can it pump?
Vertical reaches of 100-150 m are routine with correctly designed pipelines and adequate concrete pressure.
Boom pump or line pump?
If the pour point moves often and sits within boom reach, a boom pump wins on labour. If concrete must travel far horizontally or vertically beyond the boom, use a line pump and pipeline.
