Belt Conveyor - Crushing & Screening Plants

A Belt Conveyor turns blasted rock into saleable aggregate. In practice that means a primary crusher that accepts the biggest boulder from the quarry face, a secondary and often tertiary stage that shapes the particles, and screening decks that cut the stream into the size fractions your concrete or asphalt plant actually buys. HAMAC builds each stage — jaw crushers, impact crushers, cone crushers, vertical shaft impact crushers, vibrating screens and feeders — and then integrates them into stationary, modular or crawler-mounted layouts.

The decision that shapes everything downstream is whether the line is stationary, skid-mounted or tracked. A stationary Belt Conveyor rewards a fixed quarry with many years of production ahead of it; a tracked or mobile plant pays back where you must follow the face or move between contracts every few months.

Buyers usually compare two things: whether the machine will hold its rated output on a hot day with damp aggregates, and whether anyone will answer the phone in year three. HAMAC designs for both.

Key Advantages of Belt Conveyor

Dust and noise control

Enclosed screen decks, water spray bars and optional bag filters keep the plant within site emission limits.

Quick relocation

Modular skid and crawler chassis versions travel without foundation work, cutting mobilisation from weeks to days.

Wear parts you can source

Manganese jaw dies, blow bars, mantle and concave sets use common profiles and are stocked for ten years.

True-stage matching

Crusher chamber profile, eccentric throw and screen deck are matched to each other, so no single stage becomes the bottleneck of the whole Belt Conveyor.

Diesel-electric freedom

Tracked units run either from the mains or from their own diesel generator when the grid has not arrived yet.

Spare capacity designed in

Conveyors and screens are sized roughly 15% above nominal so short-term peak demand does not stall the line.

Technical Parameters

Indicative ranges for standard configurations. Final values are confirmed against your project requirements.

Typical Applications

On typical projects this equipment is selected where output reliability governs the whole schedule.

Construction and demolition waste

Recycled concrete crushed and screened back into road base material

Sand manufacturing

VSI stage producing manufactured sand to replace natural river sand

Mine overburden and ore pre-crushing

Primary reduction ahead of milling circuits

Aggregate quarries

Granite, basalt, limestone and river pebble processed into concrete and asphalt fractions

Contract crushing

Mobile units moving between short-term road and dam projects

From Enquiry to Commissioning

Six defined stages, each with named deliverables, so nothing is left to interpretation.

Requirement study

We start with your mix design, hourly output target, aggregate size, jobsite power supply and site layout — not with a catalogue page.

Scheme design

Our engineering team issues a layout drawing, foundation loads, power requirement and an equipment list matched to the target output.

Quotation & contract

A fixed specification quotation with clear technical annexes protects both sides; no vague "standard configuration" wording.

Production & inspection

Weekly production photos, welding and pressure test records, plus third-party inspection if your project requires it.

Delivery & installation

Container or break-bulk shipment, then on-site supervision of assembly, alignment, calibration and dry-run.

After-sales

Remote diagnostics by video call, spare parts dispatch within 48 hours for stocked items, and periodic return visits.

Frequently Asked Questions about Belt Conveyor

What output can I realistically expect?
Published figures assume continuous, well-graded feed. In the field, expect 80-90% of nominal throughput; HAMAC quotes conservative rather than theoretical numbers.
Is a mobile plant worth the extra cost?
If your plant moves more than twice a year, or if foundation work is expensive at your site, the crawler or wheeled version usually pays for itself inside two seasons.
How much maintenance does the plant need daily?
Roughly 30 minutes: check lubrication pressures, belt tracking, screen mesh tension and hydraulic oil temperature. Weekly items add oil sampling and bolt re-torquing.
Can the plant be upgraded later?
Yes. Conveyors, screen decks and even the tertiary crusher can be added later because we keep the layout modular and reserve structural capacity for it.
How do I choose between a jaw and an impact primary crusher?
A jaw handles abrasive and high-strength rock up to roughly 320 MPa and gives a low wear cost per tonne, while an impact crusher produces a far better particle shape for concrete aggregate but wears faster on hard or abrasive stone.
